View Full Version : Recommend a low BB frame

I've decided that I want a low BB frame. I've got a Czar Ivan Short which is a +60mm BB. It is my first real trials frame and I bought it when damn near every bike had a high BB. I am a sport level rider, at best, so my time spent on two wheels is much greater than my time on one. I tried a newer Czar with a +30mm BB and it felt much more natural on two wheels, other than the bike was too long for me (it was a long, I am short). I thought about a 07 Zoo pitbull but no one seems to have one.
I would love to try a WTF but the funds just aren't there right now. Do you guys have any recommendations for a frame? I'm 5'8" and weight 210-220lbs so I don't need or want anything too light or less durable. I'm looking forward to having a bike that doesn't feel like complete ASS on two wheels.

zoo pitbull short has 10mm rise, and looks like a decent frame

If your looking for something not hacked out of the same molds as most other volume frame makers, the choice is pretty easy.

:yum: I might be able to scrape together enough coin to buy one, but I know I can't afford the divorce that would follow. :(

Thanks for the recommendations, I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a pitbull, older pure, or control. Unless I can scrape together enough scrilla to justify a FTW WTF!!!!:bigthumb:

i just built up my old norco frame. i'm debating whether or not to keep my 06 pure. lmk if interested. 200 shipped?
got some scratches but barely used since i damaged myself and it was winter
not quite sure if i'm really ready to part, but thought i'd gauge interest

the coustellier st. blaise might be another option. stiffest frame ever, and it has a zero drop or +10mm bb, depending on which version you can get..
Michel Coustellier sells them for just 200 euros/315$ (plus shipping). Maybe even less, if you're nice to him ;)
