I ordered a Monty on-line from Vaughn, of Trialsin.com

He stayed in touch the whole process, and from the order date of March 12th, I got it today, drop-shipped from Spain. 10 days... must be a record!

Great service from Vaughn! Thanks.

2 weeks???? Otto must really like you. Monty is noted as being laid back in the oversea's delivery department.

Maybe having hosted the Pi family for some stuff at the '97 worlds in Tahoe had something to do with it...or knowing Ot's mom from Interbike, LA Bike Show, etc.

Anyway, Zak opened the box, and his first comment was how heavy some of it was, and the lack of any ti parts. I'll try to get him to post reflections/impressions when he rides it. he is still rehabbing his re-build shoulder after surgery.

It is the 20" mod.

Everyone involved in Trialsin.com is saucy, classy and just plain freakin' fabulous. Excellent selection of stuff, reasonable prices, and quick delivery. They patiently answer questions about materials, bike set-up and riding techniques. May they continue to grow and spread much biking happiness! :wiggle:

I had purchased a Monty PR frame last November. It was defective. I returned it and another one was ordered. Three and a half months later, no replacement - so I decided to get my money back.

My local Monty distributor was great on keeping me updated as well as trying his best to get something out of Monty however.

Back order is one thing, completely ignoring a customer is another. Taking three and a half months to replace a defective frame!? Anyways, so good for wanting to try a Monty... I am suprise they can run a business like that! Oh wait, they are Monty, they are invincible.

Looks like you got a lot of moola!! Those Monty's now are rediculous! $3,000 for a new bike! No wonder you got it quick. Half of the price was for shipping!
