I think he looks exactly the same on his mod as he does the stock. His techniques and body position are almost identical accept he hits the front wheel on the pedal ups sometimes, aka tap.

Not super powerful, but very agile and quick. Great balance too.

He is exactly what I had in mind when I mentioned to Vaughn that good trials riders are like Ninja-squirrels :bigthumb:

edit:sick air on that mini ramp :bowrofl:

How tall is he?
This weekend I was practising my side hops and trying to do them more like that. He barely drops the front end of the bike when he preloads, where as I was preloading and dropping my front end quite a bit.

This way seems to work better but its hard to get used too since I've been stuck in one groove for a while.

He would appear to be right around 6ft?

Do you know how tall his bro is?

Chronic... if you look closely you can see that he does pre-load pretty far, almost to his tire. Its just such a quick pop that it seems as if he's only going down half way

va tick I know what you mean about his body preload, but I was meaning how he moves the bike.

He barely drops the front wheel. And I was just mentioning I used to drop my front end so much when i preloaded. And when I showed a vid of me and a buddy side hopping, lancet had mentioned. Try not to drop the front end so much. Which I've been doing and having better success with... Just pointing that out.

And yeah, this almost same movie was posted a while ago.

Oh, I see. Do you ride a high bb bike? Is this technique more proprietary to the higher bb bikes?

In my head, it makes sense to do it that way on whatever bike... since it's closest to what you'd do without the bike?

ya it doesnt matter, the technique is basically the same
