what does 128x68mm mean for a bb

how would i use that measurement to measure the bb on the frame

68mm is the shell size, 128mm would be the width of the bb splindle itself

128mm is the spindle length, 68mm is the BB shell length. Its the most common size used for 26" stock bikes running isis cranks.
