broke brake

I was tightneing the bleed screw into one of the callipers and the damn bolt snaped in half leaving the bottem part still in the threads. Ive tried glueing a metal rod to the top to see I could tiwst it out but no luck, and I also drilled a hole through the middle of the screw to see if that would do anyhting (it didn't). Anyone had this happen to them?

Did you use a screw extractor after you drilled the hole in the bolt?

If you were able to drill a hole in the remaining piece of bolt, then perhaps an easy-out (not sure how small they make them) would work.

Never had it happen, but you could use an EZ Out or something similar to extract the remaining bolt piece.

Thanks for the quick responses. Ill be heading to the harddware store later to see If I can find a screw extractor that will work.
