what brand fork?
One and a half year old Koxx Forxx... Im pretty pleased with it... have been around for some heavy riding...

Like most other part on your bike, the fork is a wear item. It does not matter how much metal it has. Stuff like this should be replaced according to how big, smooth, and the length of time you have it. If you do not want to get seriously hurt that is...

On another note, I would not use a handle bar for more than a season! It does not matter whether or not it will last 2 or 3 years before it breaks. The point is to replace it before you get hurt.

Do you have a rule for stems?
Is there really no practical way to make these parts break less abruptly?
I wonder if there are materials that change color near their fatigue limit.:joshers: I don't know, from like silver to black. :momaru:

Should I replace my frame too then? I've made some pretty rough drops that weren't very smooth and now I'm worried that its going to break when I'm in a very precarious position. :noes:
