Nice little stutter pedal, short run bunnyhop and hardcore forward lunge from two wheels, not to mention the sidehops.

The high BB/short chainstay guys couldn't hang.

Don't know why Gilles' bike looks so small. I thought all the Koxx bikes had pretty much the same geometry?

Kenny still surprises me how awkward he looks sidehopping sometimes.

Although Kenny might not be hitting the biggest moves, I really respect the fact that he tries to ride the bike and roll it over things as much as possible rather than just hopping on the back wheel for everything. I think this riding style helps the sport. Hopping with the brakes locked turns spectators off a bit.

Dani does this a bit more than the other guys too.

I think Vince's style has gotten worse since he switched to the front rim brake. Now too much squeeling and hopping.

Getting over huge obstacles is incredible, but it has to be somewhat appealing, not like breaking rocks or something. Have a little fun guys!:dunno:

I completely agree. If the riders don't look like they're having any fun, then why would anyone in the crowd ever want to try the sport out.

maybe it's why trials requires more mental strength and concentration than other sports? :dunno: You have to focus your mind on the next move you're going to make and most of the time it depends on mental strength, rather than physical strength, whether you win a comp or not.
e.g. you're standing in front of a huge rock and you know you have the skills to make it up, but your mind tells you that you can't make it... So it needs a lot of confidence to go for it.
Each of the top 5 riders can win a comp and they won't even make it under the top 10, when they're not 100% focused and dedicated to it.

they took over a huge huge space, an old pool hall- half of it is the bike shop (like 4x the size of hte old one) and the other half is a bar!!
