Decided to do a Ryan Leechesque build based on a TA26 frame (can't afford the Manifesto frame so...). So far this is what I've got:

What do you guys think?
Going to exchange the rear brake for a BB7 I think. And I'm also going to exchange the rear rim for something wider. Alex DX32 perhaps...
Also I'm in the market for a new fork. Need something lighter and lower.

Litercola: Nope, Halo Combat rims though. Built on White Industries rear and WTB Laser Disc Lite front.

40 grams more per rim than an Echo Front rim. A bit on the heavy side, yes. But if they hold up niceley I might drill them and save a couple of grams.
Also, they're widest rims that would work with the frame. The rim barely squeezes between the Maggie brakepads - een after filing them down a bit. If the rim goes 1.5mm off, then the tyre will hit the seatstays... Not overly happy with that clearance so I may change to a more narrow tyre than the current Maxxis 2.5" - which will also compensate for the heavy rims...

Geometry? And how does the disc mount look? Flimsy?

Realy? so you couldnt get away with running echo rims then eh?
that sucks
Im really interested in picking one of these up.

I don't think an Echo rim would fit but I might have done something retarded putting everything together (though I can't se how everything should fit otherwise and it works flawlessly right now).
Regarding how it rides I haven't really got anything to compare it to. It's my first trials bike. Used to ride all mountain on a big full susser so this bike feels quite... flickable and easy to get up onto the back wheel (too easy - ouch). Bunnyhoping is pretty much like my bmx.
The geometry, taken from Tartybikes, is like this:
Wheelbase: 1025mm
Chainsty Length: 385mm
BB Drop: 5mm
Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 685mm (27")
Frame size: 9.25" (centre to centre)
So, it's really short!
The disc mount is part of the dropout piece which is 7mm thick aluminium (aluminum, tomaito-tomaaaato (onomatopoetic (spelling?))) . So I guess it should be reasonably strong, not sure about it withstanding hard trials use though. You can se better pictues of the frame here: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2181
If runnng maggies a booster is a must! The frame deflects a lot when i grab the rear brake. Making it feel spongy.
The stem isn't that low, it's 90mm, +6 degress and 1.5cm of spacers underneath. Guess it's the angle that makes it look weird. Paired to a 40mm riser bar it's almost too high! Been looking at a Simtra bar, but the shipping from Tarty to Sweden is wicked expensive and I havn't found a better alternative for trials parts, any ideas you european people? (Ordering from the US would probably be even more expensive as taxes and import fees would have to be paid in that case.)
