in other words: what cranks are they? how long have you been running them? without knowing this, we can't really help or judge whether those cranks are shit or not!

Dropped 6pallets , gapped 120cm , and BANG ...
Bought the bike , and recived it 3.christmas day , and have riding it quite much after that ..
The bike was not to much used , but they did break in the middle ...
I say these are shit ... :P

Um... dude, they're X-Alp cranks. They're steel, come on (almost) the cheapest trials bike on the market and are designed to be ridden by little kids and beginners.

So yes, in comparative terms, they are 'shit'. But to get 5 years out of them is in fact very impressive.

Put it this way: to buy the FFW Monty cranks, plus an ISIS BB, plus a fixed 12T rear pinion, will cost you about half of what that whole bike would have cost you brand new.

Therefore I wouldn't be insulting a company's capability to manufacture parts when you are using their cheapest componentry and, despite that, actually got an extremely good lifetime out of them.

Those are orginale on 219 magura , and have been ridden very little ..

But yes , some more expensive ones would not have broke ..
