I rode in my garage today?? It seems like we haven't had a group ride in months, huh?

Really, I was serious the other day about going snowshoeing tomorrow (we are actually heading out tonight). Richard and I are gonna go up to Rocky Mountain National Park and try to climb to the top of some mountain and get back out without dying. If it weren't for that awesome fun, I'd be down. Excuses, I know.

That's what I was talking about the other day about snowshoes when you sent thet text that you were headed to REI. Next time, I'll let ya know.

We ended up trying to make it up to Black Lake from the Glacier Gorge trailhead but we ran out of time because Richard had to be back for work. The wind was pertty strong up there - like 30 - 40 MPH across Mills Lake, so that was fun. The roads were terrible, too. Just south of Estes Park at like 12:30 AM, some guy driving right behind us starts fishtailing all over the road and then rolls his vehicle. Luckily, it landed upright. By the time we turned around, he was already driving again. Probably drunk. Lucky he didn't slide to the left, he'd have gone over the side.

Downtown would have been nice to ride today. It was pretty clear before the damn snow started.

LOL at crazy drunk mountain drivers. Always goood for a laugh.

On our way to Moab over the summer, we got stuck at the tunnel for a few hours, and sure enough on the other side- some of the meanist snowfall Matt or I had ever seen.

We were behind this semi, and dude was about to jack-knife well over 20 times, until we got an opening to make the pass.

I've been spending way more time downtown the last week. I've been "seeing" a girl that lives 2 blocks from the Art Wall, and Phils crazy wheelswap up wall.

This snow has to go, and I really want some snowshoes too. My Cake needs some work from all this snow commuting, and thinking of selling it for a more commuter bike and money to help me move.
