Buy Garth's. Seriously, I've been lamenting the fact nobody's bought it complete. I was going to buy the frameset out of sympathy :)
Full King, middleburn, hope ft, magura rear, adamant a1, $200 SKF BB. I think he wanted about $1200 for it.

Cool boys, keen to see some pics or both bikes listed here.
Whats the consensus of front freewheel v's king/hope hub?

Front freewheel is lighter if you run a really light fixed rear hub, but a good rear hub is MUCH more reliable.... If you can get your hands on something with a King or a Hope for that kinda money then do it.....
Pretty sure there are pics of Garth's bike in a thread called 'A French in Sydney'.... or some shit :)

Thanks- found the pics :)
How is it more reliable? To mean it just seems and easy fix to rip off the freewheel and chuck on another? How long are these new trials freewheels
lasting people? To kill a hub is surely going to cost more to repair?
I'm 5'11" would garths frame length suit? Why does he have such a high short stem?
I had middleburn cranks on my DH bike, I had the problem with splines coming soft and easy to come on and off with age, does this become and issue on trials bikes?
Sorry for all the q's :)

All good.....
I have been riding for just over 8 years and have never had freewheel related issues with a King or a Hope..... Yes, if shit goes wrong, it is expensive to fix, but shit goes wrong WAY lest often..... Plus a rear freewheel engages quicker when you are already moving (because the chain is not moving).....
Garth's frame may be a little long for you, depends a little on your flexibility, but you should be able to get away with it..... In the end though, it has a great parts mix and if you find the geo is shitty, you can just get a Pure frame or something and sell that Adamant for cheaps and still have a rad bike.....
He has a high stem because the bottom bracket is 60mm high..... Gonna be real stable on the rear and gap pretty nice.... Might be a little different on both wheels.....
