I just noticed this in an email notification and I checked the King site and it's not even updated yet:

Pretty sweet for the possibility of dual disc stocks.

naw,.. look at the King site,.. still reppin the Disc-go-tech adapters on single speed hubs.
This is so new they don't even have the flange spacings to calculate spokes.

It's official. I will be selling my Hadley hubs and getting one of these bad boys. (I think. Rofl.)

The SS Iso doesn't use the universal disc adapter. That's all. If I were in the market for a new King SS hub, I'd get it, but I don't see a need to switch to it otherwise. I *think* flange data is the same as the current SS hub. It strikes me as funny that they wouldn't know, but I ran into this when I got a set of CX hubs from them a few months ago. Had to break out the digital caliper for them. They STILL don't have the specs published.

CK SS ISO hubs are long overdue, in my opinion.
However, it may display my ignorance. I'm unaware of any current product that would use anything but a 6 bolt rotor(other than Rohloff). I thought the universal adapter was a relic that lived on.

no current products, but the old rock shox, formula, magura etc mounts were not standard 6-bolt.
Discgotech is a bit of a relic, but it can't hurt to be the only company providing options.

looks to me that they updated the singlespeed hub because they made a 150mm rear hub and the shells are the same. not that it matters.

Oooooh Watson with a clue!
Yea,.. they always seem to wrap a few parts together in the manufactuing line,.. less waste and more compatibility.
I love that they finally applied what I have (and I'm sure thousands of others) have asked for in 150 rear hubs and 1.5 headsets. Though,. the 1.5 seems like quite a stack when most DH'ers want to go low.

All of the Shimano splined rotors don't use ISO.

but shimano supplies their brake systems with 6-bolt as well. They're some of the lightest steel rotors out there...
