Do you guys have hooks for your bikes on trains up there?

Melbourne are looking at bikes being banned from peak services on country lines. I want to get a pic of these hooks so I can send them to the people im writing letters to.

Even from a phone? You could send it to me. 0422 904 028

Thanks bros.

We only have the hooks on the country trains, like Woolongong or Newcastle services.

Also you have to buy a child ticket for your bike if you want to catch a train a peak times.

Tobe, you are a fat bastard. Ride your bike, not the train. If only it were that easy.

Dear sirs,
I have only just found out (on my last day of work for the year) that when I return to catching trains every day to work, that I will no longer be able to take my bike with me on V-Line services.
The excuse given for this decision is that:
"Understanding that there is limited space on peak hour trains, bicycles will not be permitted on peak hour train services."
I have ridden my bike to the train and then ridden to work from the train for the last three years almost every day. In that time, there has been only 3 occasions that the luggage, surfboard (and BIKE!) area has been overcrowded.
I cant walk to work because I will not be there on time. For me to get there on time walking, I need to catch the train prior to the 7:12am, which is the 6:15am.
I am really upset that this has been decided giving no thought to every day commuters that need to bring their bike on the train. Either provide more services, or allow bikes on the train!
I would like a response to this within the allotted time so I can send this to my local MP, and also to the bicycling and environmental groups in my area.
Yours sincerely,
Toby.
