Its at Little bay near Maroubra.

He went for a sidehop onto a big slopey rock but didn't make it and when he landed his foot came down on an angled part of the ground and his ankle rolled big time, I was watching him :noes:

I still dont understand how it broke, just very unlucky I guess.

thats fucking gay fuck... i rolled my ankle pretty bad once riding with him at coogee, went to hospital cos i thought i tore something, but just rolled it bad, hope its the same for him.

'm here... Was busy at work within under 24 hours of it happening. Might have liked a day off... but cest la vie

Pretty fuckin lame. As JD said stepped back off a sidehop and it looked like i'd rolled it pretty badly. But there was a dirty lump that was questionable. Had to hike out of there, dodging pterodactyls (golf balls) and velociraptors (golf carts) and poofs (golfers). Thanks damo and jd for carrying all my shit.

Drove home then went to ER at the POW. Joked with the nurse that knew me. Had x-rays. Doctor said I stretched the muscle that goes up the calve and it pulled the bone off because the bone is weaker than the muscle. It's in a cast for a couple of weeks, doesn't hurt at all, just a mad hassle. Won't be riding up in QLD but might do some filming if anyone is around.

This is what? The third one of these sort of threads for me. I'm starting to believe they switch the concrete with foam for the xmen movies.:dunno:

shame bout the foot dude... hope u heal up soon.

my knee was the same.. the tendons broke the patella bone. Except i was out for 2.5months and had to get 3 MRI scans.. not fun.

Anyhoo... heal up quick dude!
