For making a video with the gayest fucking soundtrack ever - Crux.
The dvd weighs in at an unimpressive 30 minutes long, and the bonus sections look as though they were encoded using a 486dx32 with 8 meg of ram:greddy:

The Thomas Ohler section is awesome tho:werd:- and it has an ok backing track. So buy it anyway.

Tell us what you really think Owen!

I can't comment on the movie because I haven't seen it but I can understand if Ryan stayed away from mainstream music for the soundtrack because dealing with record labels is a total nightmare, I'm sure without exadurating that I spent just as munch time chasing record companies as I did doing the actual filming and editing for Trials is Dead! with the exception of a few, they are all cunts IMO.

I love the film and I thought the soundtrack was good, (the kind of music I like though). I have to admit I enjoyed all 30 minutes of it where as most bike movies normally only have about 15 minutes of stuff I watch over and over again (Trials is Dead excepted of course).

While my movies are very amatuer in comparison I approached local unsigned bands for Edition 8 (our last QLD DVD). They were all happy for us to use their music, especially The Bad Moon Company - though the drummer does ride trials so that helped.

I thought the riding in the vid was sick, Korba is nasty and one of the ballsiest riders out there.I got to see him ride in 01' at the backyard bash comp in BC,CND and I never new how sick he really was, until I saw this video.

It could of been a little longer, over all I thought it was sweet..

I've found log rides to be easier (and more fun) on a unicycle. Though I haven't ridden any cables.
