Their half pedal ups are rediculous.

Like Giaco's up at the start looks like a pedalhop but if you pause it carefully, you can pause it at the time when his front hits the wall and you can actually see it.

My guess is bad vid quality and camera angle that stops you from seeing it?

Holy christtttt.. When I was in Martigues this summer, and had the chance to ride with the Cousts on a few occasions, one of them was in Istres.. The place is so damn beautiful. The colours of the buildings, the relaxed environment, the "class" of the obstacles. it's not just some skank alleyway with a ledge. You have to weave your way through cobblestone streets, and up massive sets of stairs to reach some real chill'n riding.

I am waiting for daily motion to buffer this sukker, but I hope it shows this gap to front wheel from a bench.. it's ridiculous. Some of the sidehops in istres Gaico was hitting was 54" + consistently. A tap he was hitting was 56" +.. NO PROBLEM. 1st, 2nd, 3rd trys.
Gilles 1 pedal 6 foot hooks to some ledge to rear..the sidehop beside the stairs is insane.. really insane.

The box type object I briefly saw Gaico hook.. He sidehops that. There was a smaller one he got me to do, about 52".. He sidehopped it to REAR....

To say I am forever inspired is a sick understatement...

-just watched it.. You need HD video in there to capture the ridiculousness of that place. The video seemed to just STOP at one point..? And I saw no more.

I am sure Gille / Gaico will be near the 60" mark for sidehops soon.
