This is my new bike, just as it came out of the box.
Hydroxx Short 20"
Hope Pro Trial II disc brakes front and rear
Yellow fluo rims
165mm cranks
...and all other Tryall stuff

My impressions of the first ride are very positive. The bike rides great, it loves to do manuals and sidehopping is very easy. Bunnyhopping is very easy, although I don't know why, pedaling up to rear feels weird (don't know if it's because of 4 months of not riding or because I don't have the feel for the bike yet).
The brakes have great stopping power even though the pads have not been broken in properly, but on each ride they gain more power.
There's only one thing that let me down a bit: it's weight, which according to a electronic scale I have at home it's 9.3 Kg.

Here are a few pics of the bike and the first ride on it.

So that comes to around 20.5 lbs. if I round up, which isn't to bad.Considering the quality of the bike and the components on it.

looks sweet,

At last Juanmar!
Ive been having so much fun with mine especially with the dual disks. I have mine with 160mm cranks though, that maybe why you are feeling it different when pedaling up as opposed to your Echo. With my Hydroxx I can pedal up as high as with the XTP2. I still miss sometime the higher bb when riding natural, it still prevents me clearing stuff UCI style. But for example today I rode in the rain and the brakes worked flawlessly, I was riding as if it was dry. Keep training and dont let Soto and Chueco catch you back.

BTW I'll be back before next years Clasico!

How have you managed to get 600 grams out of yours? Monty bars, Mag pedals, Ti screws?

Finally it arrived after all the hassle I've been through! It was worth the wait 'cause it came exactly as I wanted it initially except for the mag pedals.
Did you know that Chueco beat Soto in this years Clasico? They're riding great these days!
So you're coming back for a few days?? We should get a ride going when you get here.

Thanks everyone for the good comments, I'm waiting to get more used to the bike and I'll post some more pics.

Ill be back for good Juanmar, so we will have tons of rides. I was surprised by the clasico results, Chueco and Soto very close together! And I know Soto is ridding a lot from what I saw in Japan.

My shoes are Monty rip-offs made locally by some dude, work great, good grip, last long and are very cheap compared to Monty / Try-all / other brands ~ USD 50 and are available fairly quickly.

I'll finish my MBA next year in June and then we are going back for the plans :wiggle:
Yeah, make a video, full disk video that would be cool, and you guys all ride really good so it should be interesting.
