I was one of the first to get an '06 echo rear and its still going strong to this day... Everyone elses has died a horrible death though!

Thats not true, mine is still in great shape too. Only reason I got the new ones was because a guy was selling a set for 100 shipped so, I jumped on that.

Pulled the old 06 rim off layed it on the floor and its barely tacoed. Measure it in a bunch of places and its pretty round. So... Guess I have a spare.

1. grind your rim
2. wear gloves
3. replace your chain often

oh ya, and wear a helmet
