The weather couldn't have been better for the entire weekend. Highs in the low 70's lows around 55. Perfect weather for camping/hiking/trials and everything I'm forgetting. I want to thank all the riders for showing up. Steve, the food Saturday morning was great, thanks a lot for that. I want to thank Stan/Patrick and Jason for helping set up all the sections and everyone else who helped out.

We had 11 riders show up and even though the turn out was low everyone had a great time. It was very close in expert up until the last loop. Chris had to clean the last section to win. Ross had one of his best comps while Stan seemed to be off that day. He are the results:

Beginner-
1st- Spencer Lowden 13 dabs
2nd- Jacob Moore 23 dabs
3rd- Billy Wilson 26 dabs

Sport
1st- Patrick McNally 10 dabs
2nd- Nate Hudgens 37 dabs
3rd- Mike Schumacker 44 dabs
4th- Steve Nelson 60 dabs

Expert
1st- Chris Pitts 25 dabs
2nd- Ross Morgan 26 dabs
3rd- Stan Selejov 32 dabs
4th- Jason Wood 41 dabs

Next and final comp of the year is Oct. 20th at Tishomingo. This will be one to attend. Details to come.

Everyone was getting some stupid 5's. Ross stepped it up big at this comp. One section he just had to exit and it would of been a clean. He fived on the last little root. Same with Chris and Stan. Everyone had at least 2 stupid 5s. I'll post some pics a little later on. Chris was wearing his wonder bread skin suit.

Heres one to start with. How could anyone compete with a skin suit in the section. Jason looks a little puzzled as to be saying WTF is that?

Nice pic!!

One of the best comp weekends I've ever had. The drunk caving was absolutely unreal. I wish we had some pics of that.

Riding sport was fun too:greddy:

i just wanted to say thanks jeff for putting on the comp. if it wasnt for guys like you, guys like me would ruin the sport all together wearing such lavish attire. the sections were alot of fun to ride, and i now know that i need to go work on learning how to ride in a straight line inside of 4 foot high sidehops, haha. id also like to thank tim at trialsin for giving me so much support with the monty. its still the best bike ive ridin to this day. also, thanks to the guys at hope tech usa for having my stuff shipped to my house 15 min before i left on friday. im starting to learn why they call them "hope brakes", i hope they work today......... !!

anywho it was awesome seeing everyone again and see how much everyones improved. espically ross. i might have won by only 1 dab, but ive been riding for probably about 7 years now, and ross is like at 2 1/2, so you tell me who the winner is. either he needs to move to pro or i need to drop to expert, same goes for jason. if his rear brake was working, god knows what he could have done. and stan, well, he was finally defeated this year, but look at what that says, hes just the best when it comes to riding down there. but stan, if jeff starts timing the sections you might wanna think about droping down the beg....... :naughty:

thanks again everyone, and ill post my pics up soon. oh yea, dont hate on the suit, without the cut down wind resistance, i would have never had the speed to clean that last section..........

I'll post the rest of the pics in the morning. I'll also post all of the over all results then too. It was an awesome time. I think I spent a total of 30 minutes on bike the entire weekend and had one of the best times at a comp in a long time.

Thanks again everyone for making my son feel welcome this weekend... and for setting a good example (at least in his presence). I hope he wasn't too much of a distraction trying to do foot trials in the sections... without waiting his turn.

Wish you guys could have stayed for a group ride at the water fall... well, maybe not because then all the tourists would have been clapping and cheering for you rather than Steve and I making fools of ourselves on the left over expert sections. After dabbing my way up, I gained even more respect for your abilities.

The icing on the cake was arriving home and hearing my wife bust out laughing at that photo... especially when I told her that Jason was actually competing at that moment.

I think Chris was willing to go to any length to win.

Word up on the timer. I loved riding with Nate, but he likes to chill and balance his checkbook in the middle of the section

^^haha.. nope. I suck pretty bad now (for an expert rider). I either 5 everything in expert, or have a good time riding sport. Jeff is gonna ride sport from now on too.

This way, we can continue to increase the difficulty of the sections for the Stan/Ross/Jason/Aaron crew

Yea, it's called PRO.

True. Let's tone down the expert sections a bit and make them all go Pro. it will be SUPER hard for Stan and the rest:momaru:

Next year we will time all riders. I can see now where it would make things a little more interesting.
