That Czar was pretty nice. What are you looking for out of it?

Neil was telling me about a cheap bike after the Saturday ride...IIRC, it's called a Tank & they're ~$199 complete on ebay.
I'm sure it totally sucks, but if he just wanted something dirt-cheap to see if he's interested in sticking with it, I suppose it might be better than trying trials on a bone-stock bike.

Pete,
I do not think this frame is a TANK?
I know VERITAS and TANK are the same.

Soul Cycles frame is for real. They're pretty nice, not shitty quality, but not completely bombproof. Shipping was $20ish for me.

wow, looks like a good deal, but I'd believe the company more if their website didn't have: "comming in may 2007" "comming in june 2007" considering those dates are way past, either update the dates, or finish the site...
Looks fishy to me, use with caution.

That's a bike I wouldn't buy if I had the money! The older Tanks are much better. The older ones have a longer wheelbase too. I used to have one of the firsts ones. Had it for 2 or 3 years.

Yeah, I'd be concerned trying any big moves on it for sure, but I suppose for someone who didn't really know if they were going to stick w/it & didn't have the $ to buy a decent used bike it *might* be an option.

they had some updates as recent as this past weekend. someone said they loved one of their dirt jumper frames. ...that they sold out of this past weekend. :rant2:

The soul bikes are real. They've been doing these for a little while now too if I remember correctly. I've seen a few of them, but never owned one myself. I think for someone looking to get into trials it would be a pretty good deal. Much better than anything "Tank", and or "Veritas" has ever had on the market.
