I'm in for sure. Mark pick me up en route?
Julian needs a brake, his maggie died on a rail crash. Or atleast a caliper he had to knock an o ring out of place or something. Anyone have a loaner till he gets a new one, or one for sale?

I will pick you up no problem, I can lend Julian any parts he needs off my mod bike. Let him know we can car pool, and if he wants to come by the house early we can wench on his bike first before we get you.

I have a whole hs33 laying around Julian can have and disect if he wants. The lever (master) leaks but the whole rear (both slave cylinders) are fine. Only catch is that they're red.

Couple more weeks to be safe.
I took the bike round the lake...few hops and jumps. Felt great..just been told not to do anything big.
I would ride Boulder but...temptation could be too great.
Then agian Icould be good to get the small techy stuff dialed....
Nope temptation of bigger stuff....
But hmmm
Well..
Nah...really shouldn't 2weeks isn't much, especially with college.
I'll wait...wash my hair
I'll be back.....and going bigger than before.
Get practising.....
Call Out comp Round2 before the Snow hits???
Or we should take a road trip up Mount Evans...all sorts of crazy rocks up there....some truely big lines!!! COuld be fun...the view is killer, could be a sweet last ride up there before the white stuff hits. Load the bike in my truck...take a car with the riders...pack a picnic....oh yeh...Disc golf @ somewhere over 13,000ft

Rob, Mark which one of you could drop it by the shop sometime this week? I will then relay it to him.
I think this is our time to get him into natty....catch my drift?

I'd rather be hitting up Boulder or Buffalo Creak but responsibility calls.
You always talk so highly of the natty riding in Boulder, how about we come up next Sunday and you show us some of the best places you have found.

Usually, if they are out of something, Todd will call immediately but I know what you mean (another backorder??!?!). I'll bring the maggie and parts for it.

I'm not sure if I should ride. My headset is truely fucked at this point. Either way, I haven't seen anyone in a while so I'l come chill.
On Monday I'll be taking it in for a cheap headset and ordering a bottom bracket from somewhere, probably a moe from trialsin. :dunno:

That would be great, Thanks. Any chance you might join us?

depends, i might have responsbilities ;)
spot one: flagstaff.
take 36 into boulder
take baseline exit, turn left (west)
take baseline way west, you'll start driving up the side of the foothills.
you'll make a right curve and start going up the road as it gets steeper.
about 2.5 miles up you'll see maybe 6 parking spots on the left hand side of the road, there's more parking at the next curve. park there.
follow the footpath towards the bouldering spots (south of parking).
ride where there isnt anyone climbing.
technically riding there is illegal but i've never had anyone give me shit about it aside from prick climbers.
spot two: boulder canyon.
take 26 into boulder, stay on it, this will turn into 28th st.
take 28th st to canyon, turn left (west).
you'll pass by Eben G Fine park on the left side of you, the creek will be on the left too.
go about another 12 miles i think it is up the canyon.
the road will curve right but there's a dirt road off to the left- big tower of rock there called "eagle rock", very popular climbing spot. that dirt road will cross the creek over a small bridge. park near that bridge. ride in the river. go up the hillside for wooded gnarly rocks.
it's harder to find than flagstaff.
here's a link to the spot in google maps, you can see the tiny bridge i'm talking about.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=boulder+colorado&ie=UTF8&ll=39.979245,-105.454958&spn=0.001866,0.003862&t=h&z=18&om=1
you could come ride those two spots for every sunday for the rest of your lives and not have ridden them to their full potential.

It would be no problem for Hopsalot. He's really good on natural. I, on the other hand, wouldn't last a minute.

flagstaff could easily be above anyone in colorado. there are moves there that i've looked at that i doubt anyone local would stomp. maybe get it eventually kind of thing but no one that would be stomping it.
there's also small stuff there that would be great practice for beginners. that's what makes both those spots so awesome.
