So.. just wanted to thank everyone who came down (I counted 30 at Rockport ..riders/family) especially those who traveled milezzz to come to the east side to play. I know there wasnt alot of structure as far as a "comp" goes, but not knowing what to expect with the turnout and what everyone wanted to do, It was more of a meet and greet and ride event that in my eyes turned out awesome.
Everyone I met over the last three days was super cool and everyone seemed to get along fantastic. I was kinda sketch on being an e-biker and meeting everyone through a forum and not knowing what to expect as far as personalities goes, but in my eye's it was perfect.
I hope everyone had fun and lost a few pound's in the sweltering heat. looking forward to the next OTNdayz East that should be twice as baller!!

Again... thank's to everyone who came out to ride and shoot still's and video and to Matt for making it all possible.

Darrel

It was a blast. The best group ride I've experienced in a long time, definitely the biggest. I'm sure next year will be a much bigger event.

It's been such a rough year for me. Between 3 deaths in the family and studying hard for an exam, I really needed this. I've been looking forward to this all year and it was even better than I thought it was going to be.

It was a pleasure meeting those of I hadn't met before and it was great to see old friends again.

Big thanks to Darrel for organizing and to Bruce and Sinister for hosting a great party.

And huge thanks to Matt, without whom none of this would be possible and, I'd probably be riding trials alone everyday.

To those of you that I hosted at my house, it was a pleasure having you and you're welcome anytime.

it was cool!

:bowrofl:

Us trials riders may be nerds, but a hell of a lot of fun to hang out with. Even though I couldn't really ride because of my shoulder, I had an awesome time heckling and drinking with you guys. My only regret is that it'll be such a long time until the next OTN days. :wtc:

The whole weekend exemplified how trials in the US should be. Big thanks to:
Matt for hosting the site (and fixing it in time so that we could coordinate!)
Darrel for organizing it, working out the logistics with the Trustees of Reservations, bringing us to the dece pumpkin ale, and getting us the hookup with the sinister barn
Erik for bringing a dedicated videographer, for the patch kit, and for the Sunset grill
Aki for taking great photographs and for the water the first day
And to the rest of the guys, I'm not going to name you individually like Kevin :greddy: but you guys are dope e-riders and I can't wait to see you again.

PS Joel wheremybarsat?

Oh crap, the bars are in Aki's car? Along with teh watermellon that didn't get tapped + vodka = more fun.

The hospitality amongst riders is golden, like a bunch of brothers you don't fight with. Next year will be huge er er.

I gotta do some e-tourist homework and stop e-biking. Rest day of people watching today as the ACTUAL riding over three days was rad.

What's up with the fact that as soon as most everyone leaves the weather goes back to being pretty close to perfect?

I ended up going friday night, like 6-8:30 (When I could no longer see). My g/f and I were alone besides for some fishermen, and I must say, at dusk, that place is stunning. The setting sun and rising moon were spectacular to see, and it was nice and cool for riding. Great time and I'll put some pictures up somewhere on here soon.

P.S. sorry I couldn't meet up with anyone, I had to work on Sat and Sunday. Sounds like you guys had a blast. Later@!

I guess I'll post in this thread too...

Thanks again to everybody who set this nonsense up. I think everybody was nervous about all the chickens but fortunately they behaved themselves. It was cool to meet a lot of you guys. I definitely recognized most of you from the forum and it's good to know you're all big losers like I figured. :momaru: But seriously, this was a great weekend and definitely worth the drive up.

And another thank you to Erik and Jodi for the bed, air conditions, and awesome breakfast.

I agree with what everyone said. The ride was great and the people were awesome too. Thanks to everyone who organized any part of this. The heat sucked, but it was worth it. I look forward to all the video!

Guldens were ordered at the bar on another tab before the meal. But most liked the Skullsplitter better.

We had one under age with us, so that accounts for the Cokes.
