have you tried listing on ebay?

have you tried listing on ebay?

No, but by the time I did that with this bike there would be little chance of someone buying it and it would be a lot of money. So I'd be out a lot of money if somebody didn't buy it.

You're looking at maybe $10 to list on eBay.

item selling for $500 or more = $4.80
closing cost = approx 4% of sale price, no cost if not sold
reserve fee = 1% of reserve price, refunded if sold
'buy it now' = $0.25
additional pictures after first = $0.15 each

Thanks, I will have to get a bike box from a local bike shop before I can list it though. I will try to list it, but it is still for sale if anybody wants it.

Considering that nobody has shown much interest in it, you should either lower the price or advertise in other places.

I have been keeping my mouth shut about this thread, but I gotta say this...

This is an absolute waste of space. Nobody here wants your bike for the price you're asking. No amount of bumping this thread will change their minds. And you can't figure out how to use Craigslist??? You're a teenager dammit! You should be pro at using the internet! Holy shit...

I have already advertised in 3 other forums and nobody has showed any interests either. It has been on those forums a lot longer than it has been on here. I have been trying to sell this thing for 2 months now. I could possibly go lower on the price, but nobody has offered. If somebody would just give me an offer on price they would be willing to buy it for; I would probably take it. I have pushed this bike in trying to sell it a lot. Almost every time somebody says that would like to get into trials. I let them know about it. Nobody is still interested after that either.

What price do you think I should ask for it, smartypants?

Less than $650, cummyface.

Try $500 as a maximum, then go down from there. That there is not a bike most people even want. A beginner isn't going to want to pay you that much. He'd be better off riding a cheapy XC bike. You might just have to swallow the bullet and keep it...use what parts you can on your next frame.

I think that you're frame is basically a MkIV Zebdi. At least most of the tubing looks the same - especially in the rear end. I think that the only difference is that your frame has 4-bolt brake mounts where as most or all Zebdis have V-brake mounts.

Just for a point of reference, I got a Zebdi that was similarly equipped (maybe not quite as good) for $250. Even with everything on the bike top notch I doubt one of those bikes would fetch $650. I think that you should aim for somewhere between $350 - $500. Somebody ought to buy it in that price range.

As for your daily, daily, daily bumping, keep in mind the definition of insanity: the state of mind in which one expects different results out of the same repeated action. So even if you are a kid, learn a lesson. Lower your price or pick a different marketing scheme, or show naked pictures of your mom.
