I have been doing demos for years but what I use is similar to what everyone else uses (i.e. Jeff Lenosky, Ryan Leech, etc.).
Just wanted to get thoughts about new ideas for obstacles to include in demos that show off all types of moves (balance, drops, gaps to front wheel, pinch gaps, etc, etc, etc.).
What I have found on this forum is that there are some very smart people with great ideas and am looking for some great ideas.
Any help is appreciated.....thanks

Suck up. No actually, I'd love to see what people are using as I wouldn't mind making something that would work right in front of my shop that would look halfway decent, the spools just rot too easily.
Check out the post in the Aussie forum. Too lazy to find and link :)

why not home furniture ? or may a camping table
something that people can relate on interms of size
for example, when you jump on a blackbox, they don't really figure out how high it is, but if you jump on a car, they can easily compare

good point. that skater crash vid rush linked to made me think about the height stick on the back of the vert ramp. then i was thinking a tape with big numbers would be cool. then i was thinking the same, but with a tape that's maybe an 1/8" shy for each inch. so for every 8" up, you gain a bonus inch. i wouldn't do that myself, but it'd be funny. :dunno:

the only reason i was able to watch is bc i read down the thread and saw that he walked away and was released from the hospital the same night. ...mind blowing. especially considering i injure myself on flat ground. :weak:
