So my eno finally died and Monty and Tensile are my choices. Which one to get? I don't really care how much engagements it has, just need it to last a fair while. I could get a Monty for 50 eur and a Tensile for 58 eur.

ok the monty are WI pretty much (i beleave they are made in the same factory) and has 72 clicks

the tensile same to be lower quality. to be honest though i have no real experance with it

I've heard good things about the monty, but if you don't want to take any chances, tensile is the way to go for something that will last/won't skip.

I still havent figured out on what bearings the monty runs. Is it on loose or sealed bearings?

they are in 'cage' (like loose, but not loose, and not sealed either), tensile got the same, so do try-all.

Apparently it looks like Monty is done in same factory as Try-all (not WI) as construction is the same (only change is 9 pawls in TA).

I'd go for tensile on your place.

Tensile freewheels are awesome!!! Have one on my mod and its as good as the try-all thats on my stock. 60 clicks but dont notice any difference, feels solid too.

Tensile are horrible, after 2 days the bearings fell out and the lockring came loose it happened twice, so i decided to get a new bike with a monty freewheel its perfect.

My tensile skips on me at least once every ride, it's about 1 month old.
It also feels terrible compared to the tryall.
My tryall is cracked through the middle now (from the torture of removing a broken crank (without crank puller due to damaged threads) with grinding, drilling, smashing, prying, heat etc.) BUT in the time before this I never noticed my tryall skip once!
