I actually really like the 426. The bike feels good to me, but some just cant get over the weight(a buddy had one.). I never complained, as I used to ride the '98 400f(the original). Now that was a beast! What a torquey motor though, that first year they put a really heavy flywheel on the crank; would pull through anything. They lightened it up for '99(which I also rode), which made it more responsive, but I preferred the motor on the 98. Swear the thing weighed 270lbs tho, talk about being sore after a hard ride!

for motocross/supercross the bike is way to heavy, but it is an excellent trail bike. ive had this think since it was new and ive put about $800 into it other than in tires, chains, etc. very durable and extremely fast. but its time for a light new whip.

99 kdx 200. pretty quick for a kdx. raced hare scrambles for several years. i'm going to upgrade to a ktm 250 hopefully kind of soon. pressed for time for all these activities though.
