i just got a set of threshold tensioners for my python to replace my snail cams. i took the snails off but when i did that there was this HUGE gap on the axel. are you guys leaving the snails in there and then just puttin the thresholds on that outside of the drop outs?

sorry about the double post too...ud think i was a forum noob...nope just as work with a slow computer and got distracted

i would use the snail cams over the threshold tensioner. i've had better experiences with snail cams

My threshold tensioners are on the inside of the horizontal dropouts (Monty X-Lite) with the snail cams removed.

i HATE my snails. the metal is just too soft. they are all warped and dont hold. after a year of using them and not being able to get the right tension i am changeing.

Thresholds g where the snail cams used to be. It'll all make sense when you get the thresholds. I'll try to post pics later.

My thresholds sit on the outside of the frame and work perfect (on GU 06)
but to work for my friend they need to go on the inside of his python 07
