Where are the good spots to ride Boulder urban?
I'm gonna be going up there early in the morning with Julian and we have never ridden up there, so we dont know where the good spots are.
I've seen the videos of the riding at CU but is that kosher? Will we get into trouble riding on campus? I'm just to tired of getting harrassed by security and cops.
Any help would be great, and if anyone can ride as well, jump on in.

The hill... All of campus...5 years of riding there and the cops mostly clap when you are riding.

near the hill, i can google map it...
take baseline exit, go right on broadway
you'll go all the way into campus, start going up a big hill, then the hill starts to go down- take a left on pleasant st if you can (not sure if you can from broadway) and there is a big parking lot on the right...
"the hill" is just the top of hte hill, you'll find riding there...and go to half fast subs on 13th, its next to full city cycles.

Nice thanks Andy.
I figgured that Pearl is taboo, hell you spit and you get a ticket; I can only imagine what they would do to some seatless bicycle riders spinnin off of shit.

Mike, give me a call when you get in to town. I can probably get a few hours off of work to come out.
I don't know of anyone else that would be able to come out then, but I can make some calls.

i have been told to leave campus a few times for riding at the engineering center which is at the very north east corner of campus so i guess if you dont want to get in trouble, dont ride there. campus is plenty big so you can just say you will leave and hit up other spots :wiggle:. id join you today but im leaving to go glacading. and my back hurts, my tire is flat, i dont think its coming off without the chain breaker, brake mount is stripped, :luke:

I've been kicked out of UCLA once...probably ridden 30 times now. The cop was in traffic (at night) and shined his light at me for a good 20 seconds as I rode (thanks for the extra visibility!) did and up and a gap and rode down to the road and waited for him to pull up. He just went "DON'T do that!" and I gave him a thumbs up and rode away. Most awkward cop interaction ever.

Closest I ever got to getting kicked out of anything in Boulder was while I was doing this tree ride on the main lawn on Campus. This hippie runs over and starts yelling at me for "killing the tree" to which I respond with a laugh and then do another tree ride. He gets even more pissed and then sits in the way at the base of the tree. So then my tree ride turned into a hippie ride. It wasn't as smooth.

i just got kicked off boulder center for sports medicine today right by my house...i was gapping on some curbs over a sidewalk... he was lazy as hell, i saw him and he made a waving motion for me to leave from across parking lot. i should have waved back, turned my back and kept shredding them curbs till he walked across the parking lot.

I was riding the justice center (fort collins) on a 15' high rock (just a big round rock) and a woman ran up to me and yelled at me for ruining the sculpture and that I should get off it before she called the cops.
