So,

I used to ride trials, about a year or two ago, then quit. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE! The past few months I've had a massive itch to get back into the game, and now I have money. I've decided on a mod. What frame do you guys suggest? The shop that I deal with, (http://www.thetrialsinshop.com), has an Adamant A3 short in stock. I am 5'11 - 6, so the short model worries me. But what do I know? Any other frames that you guys suggest?

Thank you great trials gods

With your height, I'd deffo take long rest is your choice of what you like and what you don't like in diffrent geos. Meet with other riders in your area and try everything you can:) If I was you I would take czar long :)

Well order is pretty much placed, just waiting for him to build it. I went for a GU longwheel base mod, with the 72 engagement point Echo front freewheel and a Shimano front disc (I'll probably upgrade when I pay this off).

OK! I am going through a little crisis here! Maybe I don't want a mod? Now that I think about it the only reason that I really wanted a mod is because I didn't want to deal with the weakness of 26inch wheels. Is this such a big worry? I am by no means a hack, not the smoothest rider in the world either. Should I just learn how to tru my own wheels? Maybe it's time for me to learn how to fix my bikes.

learn to true your wheels.
its a non-issue. Im a 270lb clyde, and I have never had to true my trials bike wheels since I laced them up.

Still wondering...Who makes 24" trials frames? Would it be possible to get one for under $600?

edit: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk - Gave me an OK idea of what's out there. The Ciguena looks like something I'd like.

NEW QUESTION!!! - What kind of forks are out there for 24" bikes?

about all 24" specific frames are meant for 400mm forks, that means you can use almost any trials specific stock fork(when using a disc brake, when you want a magura or a v in the front then I don't know)

600$ seems like a bit of a longshot especially since 24s are already pretty rare in canada. You could always try to find something used. There is the reset coming out, but it has a hefty price tag of 900$. Custom steel frames should be around that pricetag too.

Alrighty! She be ordered.

Long GU Typhoon pretty much like any average one you'd see, but with the 32 engagement Echo FW and a Shimano disc in the front. I'll probably upgrade to a BB7 later but I hope this will do for now. Anyone ever use the Shimano disc?
