ooh, I wanna see! How close are the cranks to the brakes?

Macbeth

Not my bike so I don't want to give too much away...... SLB is the guy to talk to.....

But looks like Middleburns clear an Avid Ultimate V no worries.

Is it a long or a short adam? I might get one, I have tensiles and maguras, so I'm curious to know about crank clearance too.

Here's mine...

I'll post some more pics up soon. Still gotta bleed the front brake and do some tweaking. It's the 1075wb short version. Brake clearance might be an issue and it won't take king fun bolts. But otherwise pretty happy with the build quality for the price, and like the look of it. I'll ride it if it ever stops raining

Heres a pic of a friends bike:

So as you can see, not much clearance

if you use Echo hidro brakes you´ll get more crank spacing:

"smaller clipper cylinder, special design for trials wide rim, keep the cylinder away from your ankles..."

no one was talking about it because it no longer looks like an xtp.

i personally think the frame looks too small. do we need that much stand over?

looks like a quality frame though

At first glance I like it, but I'm not a big fan of short headtubes. And if it has clearance problems with maggies and fun bolts, then it's useless for me.

it kind of reminds me of that giant proto frame just like a swoop of metal. I never even thought about the clearance with the brakes. I do like the rear triangle and the CNC.

We measured SLB's to be 1080mm WB, 385mm CS and 32mm BB rise with his HiFi fork.

I am building a full Czar bike with echo components next week. Pics coming as soon as it's done...

seems kind of silly calling it a czar. It no longer looks like the old ones and teh geo isn't even close to the same.

Their last frame was Czar Ivan, looked like an xtp and had enough bb rise to go to the moon and back, now they made new frames(both mod and stock) an they have to change their brand name? Shitty logic imho.

The funniest thing is the logo, which looks like Deng has opened MS Word and found font he liked most and said "Yea, umpa dumpa super I like (not!)":D SOOO NOOB:) I still like him as he is keen guy.

SLB What did you have before? I'm also considering Czar short, but dunno if short won't be to short...;]

Definitely the nicest bike i've ever seen. I'm definitely getting one of these things. The only thing I don't like is the dropout area. Does anybody else think they look a bit weak?

:h5:

As far as King Fun bolts go; just get crazy with your grinder and make space for them. I've had to mod my Adamant A2 and my Control to accept them. Not to mention all the custom grind work I had to do to get the Rennen tensioner to work with the bolts AND the frames.

Pictures? I'll go dink around with the camera.

i agree, maybe specialized should change their name because the new enduros look nothing like the old ones. your thoughts sir drake?

I want to get one but i want to have 2 logos so then i can put them together to make the same logo as rolex! It only needs 2 more of those prong things and then I can have a rolex bike!

SLB's old ride was the original Czar.

Honestly, who gives a shit what the bike is called or how good the stickers look? I'b be more concerned with how well it rides and how long it lasts!

i Love white bikes!! about the crank and frame space... this frame neds to be build witha over size bb like the koxx bb or the external bearing from echo

cheers

The truvativ bb he's using has the same 128mm length spindle as those, and is definitely better quality. I don't think bb length is the problem. The frame looks as stiff as hell so I think as long as it clears it won't flex and rub....

I know on my old Vinco I had very minimal clearance and I was worried about it, but it was fine....
