Usually park around Lincoln and Colfax then ride wherever. Give me a call when you get downtown (303) 585-1223 and we'll meet up.

Yes, you should get an enduro - likely maybe mine. I've got an extra that I want to get rid of on the cheap.
I'm working on making a bike rack for my moto and soon will almost never need a car.

It's an 1983 Yamaha XT550, titled and street legal (all lights, mirrors, etc..). I took it apart last fall to rebuild the carb and clean/reseal the tank, and have yet to finish it. The carb has been rebuilt and the tank cleaning/reseal is in progress, so it's nearly ready to be put back together.
It ran great before, but was prone to clogging jets because of the gunk coming out of the tank. Between work, school, riding, and having another bike to ride I haven't had the time or inspiration to finish this one.
So if bought as is: $600-700
If I finish it: $1000-1200 (depending on what I have to do)
This is a pic of the bike partially disassembled. Missing are the sidecovers and the speedo/tach cluster. I have them - they're just not on the bike.

Damn that's clean. Just too impractical for transportion, but that would be fun for a old play bike for Rampart and just zip around the neighborhood.

I know a guy who rode this exact model bike with his newlywed wife on back from Canada to Ushaia (tip o' South America). It'll do 75 all day, get 45-60 mpg's, and chug anywhere through the woods. Last summer I rode an enduro around America. I went over 8000 miles over the course of a month and a half, camped anywhere I wanted legal or not, and went on any road I wanted.
Once I get the bike rack built for mine, I'll almost never have need for a car again.
