What's the handling diff with high bottom brackets?

I tried searching this topic and didn't come up with anything, any input? I'm 6'1" and need a long frame asap. I've been riding the levelboss 1065 (see for sale forum) the long stem handled like crap so I'm going for the 1100 of something. I see some frames available(like the GU) with the high bottom bracket and am wondering about any handling differences.

Harder to trackstand, easier balance on rear wheel, though this is also improved with shorter chainstays, I find a slight loss of power with high bb in gaps and pedal kicks, though that could be my own inability.
