spokes are spokes as far as im concerned. Ive had great luck with DT, Wheelsmith, and odyssey.

How long you need?
They're available from 182 mm to 310 mm in even lengths.

they're very nice, but why the hell do you need aero spokes on a mod? Just use DT Competitions rear, Revolutions front, and buy yourself a case (of beer) with the change.

DT Champions are just fine man. I've built all of my wheels with 'em.

yeah don't use champions, too heavy, don't flex enough (more likely to break at the head because the shock isn't absorbed along the length of the spoke).
Competition 1.8 rear, Revolution 1.5 front.

champions are the straight guage 2.0mm ones. Competitions are the double butted 2.0/1.8/2.0 ones, Revolutions are the more double butted 2.0/1.5/2.0 ones. The really really tough one is the DT alpine triple butted 2.0/1.8/2.34mm one. Thicker at the elbow than the competition. If you're doing really heavy or DH work go for this one. This is a moot point for a trials forum though.
I've built with CX-Ray spokes, when I was about as drunk as I am now (Garth, you don't want to know) and it was really entertaining. The things twist all over the place. Hacksaw a thin slot into a plastic tyre lever (I used a yellow michelin one) to hold the bladed (well, ovalised really) part to stop it from twisting.

Competitions. No need for aero spokes in the back.
