I need some help with my stem. I just got a new frame (Echo Pure) and after my old bike (brisa B26d) the stem seems too short and low. I'm not sure if its just getting used to the the frame or if i need a longer/higher stem? I think i have 100mm(?) tryall stem. Not sure of angle but it has a sloping top cap and standard diameter bars (not OS). Any recomendation of stem length/rise? I have posted a pic, but not sure if will help. Any suggestions appreciated. John.

hmmm. trying to remember how tall you are... but i'd go for something like 110-120mm x 15-20 rise. what stem did you have on the Brisa again??

if you're going for a 130mmx15deg, salsa moto ace S.U.L. stem is a nice choice. i got mine for about 30 bucks

I'm about 5'11. I was running this stem on the brisa about 100mm long.
Thanks for the recomendations. Will prob get about 120X15.

It all depends how tall you are really.

Yea, I'm your height and ride a control long. The first stem I dug was a 130mm x 5deg with 1cm spacer, it makes the bike really wheel switchable and comfy when manuvering on the rear, but the leverage is a might stiff.

Then I got a Simtra 120mm x 15 deg and the bike feels pretty sweet. Makes me wonder how nice a 130x15 would feel.
