Eno Question!

the thing is that i wanna take my eno off the crank and be able to put it back on later. i know i will have to destoy that center peice that holds the pawls. i know this cuz i couldnt get it off with the tool. my qestion is .. can i buy another one of those center peices? and where can i get one? i once heard that the best thing about the eno is that i can order parts for it and rebuild it. thanks

You do not have to destroy it, use a FW remover tool.

Use the tool. An old axel and some misc. washers, finger tight through the crank and tool will hold the tool in place while you use a vice (holding the tool) and maybe a cheater (on the crank arm) to break it free.

PS: use something softer like a 2x4 or lead pipe for a cheater so not to damage the arm

I am glad you didn't butcher your ENO Seth. The old ACS freewheels you had to hack up, but like some one else stated, a BMX freewheel remover a bolt and some washer's to hold it in place will do the trick

Yeah, the tool, bolt and vise trick never fails...If you do need spares though you can get them directly from WI or as they told me your lbs can order them.

thanks guys. actually i didnt think that that would would actually work cuz i tried it before i made this thread and the lil bmx tool was being a bitch. so i sprayed some wd40 into the threads and let it sit for like an hour , then came back and put a 3 foot cheater on there and i cant believe it actually worked. that bitch barley cut loose though. well tanks anyway though. glad i didnt have to destroy this masterpeice of enginuity. later
