they valves look like this on both tubes, all pushed to the side, i noticed no one elses seem to be that way
i could give a crap about the looks of it, but is it going to cause any problems?
im picturing the tube getting all bunched up in there and making it easier to pinch flat

It's just not aligned straight.
If you deflate it and wiggle it that may be enough. You man have to go so far as to take off the tire a bit, but it isn't that big a deal to fix.

well i just installed the tube pictured last night, it was perfectly centered when i put it on, and thats what it looks like after 5 minutes of riding around my front yard
i was thinking if i put some talcum powder in the tire before installing the tubes that might keep it from getting bunched up like that, but im just wondering if it even matters?

prolly not. your tires are too soft so they slip around on the rim

You could end up tearing the tube near the valve, which would basically ruin the tube. I'd say try and re-align it and see if it stays centered this time.

sounds like a winner, its hotter than the surface of the sun where i live, so that probably just makes the rubber that much softer

I just did that yesterday morning on my XC bike. Long story short, I think my tube got a bit out of alignment, then I got a pinch flat off a six inch drop. I got to walk my bike almost 2 miles home... been a long time since that happened (last time it was because my crank disintegrated - at least this time it'll be cheaper to fix). :rant2:
Definately straighten that thing out. If you have trouble keeping it straight, try increasing the tire pressure slightly until it stays.

i had to deflate and realign my tube/tire every other day back when i had a shitty tire. i fixed it by spraying some belt grip on the inside of my rim where the tire hooks in, but then i got a new tire about 3 days later anyway.
