i previously used a very old hutchinson coyote 2.2 ( weight 1060 gr )
i wanted to check if the more size does help a lot
so i bought this maxxis mobster 2.5 ( weight 1260 gr ) : a nice tire
When I mounted it , it seems only a little bit more bigger than the hutchison : as if the maxxis was only 2.35 '
i rode 1 hour with it and i think i don't know how to use properly the bouncing response of the tire because the maxxis only felt more heavy to me
of course the mobster felt bigger and softer but i had to increase the pressure because it felt too spongy on some backwheel hops ( my weight is 85 Kg )
so i am a little disapointed...
should I continue with this one ? or improve my "bounciness" ??
there is only 200gr difference and I can feel them...
