I'm looking to get my first trials bike. I know that I want to get a mod, I am short and think that a stock would be too large. I am looking at the zm2. Does anybody have any experience with this bike? I know that it is a starter bike, but is it a bike that I can grow with and upgrade as I progress as a rider?

The ZM2 geometry is good. If you never break it you could use it for years. There is no reason to consider it a "beginner bike" unless you have cheaper parts.
I've had one for 4 months and I really like it. I'm not anywhere close to being a beginner...

Tom is only close to a beginner when he's standing next to me.

Thanks for the advice and support. When i refered to the zm2 as a beginner bike I was refering to the complete that is on trialsen.

If you don't have/want to spend 1500 for whatever reason on a new mod, that zm2 complete is a good deal.
Besides, its real pretty.
