Super good video. It's a must. Footage from Adam Raga (and many other riders, too), huge jumps, trialshows, burnouts, and many others. It's a must see.

Compared to the other mototrial video (don`t remember the name, but french guys riding mostly street) it was not that good... But still worth dl. The camera angles and edit was poor.

waiting to hear back from original poster if permission was given to post, OTN is not ok with unauthorized dvd rips.

just curious when that policy took effect as this was never a problem for moderators before. (should we also ban vids with unauthorized songs too?)

it's always been in affect. we've taken down several posts that were of dvd rips that dont have any place being up on this site. if the stuff is being posted with permission, no biggie.

uh... straight ripping a DVD and throwing it onto a website is quite a different thing then using a song in a video. Not to mention the fact that ripping off someone in this small of a sport is messed up anyway....

Why so salty?

Just out of curiosity, why are you crying about this so much? Is it something personal?

No sarcasm or enmity directed to you, just curious.

Just looking for consistency. Copyright violation is a copyright violation regardless how small it is if one follows the law... (not saying that I support current IP/copyright laws in US though)

Why so salty?

I think being in Alaska in a shitty hotel and with almost daylight at 11pm is causing that :)

Bah, I could really care less about this. So definately no crying involved. Although I am pretty upset that cask-aged Pale Ale is much worse than just pale Ale. (way too creamy and a waste of 4.50).

Anyhow, I just think that since every other sub-forum has a stickie about what to do and what not to do, so the same can apply to this one.

Im very very interested in trying cask aged pale ale.

Im just about to head home, riding 5 miles or so, jump on a train with a bottle of Leffe and relax.

It is interesting at first but then gets old unless you like malty/creamy beer. Also the bubbles in the foam are much larger and have a different texture compared to the usual.

It wasn't motoracer 3 because that has better graphics/only 1 crappy camera angle.

The game is Moto Racer 3 I believe, dont get it, I didnt enjoy it. In fact, if you want it...PM me.

It's completely up to Matt and the mods here, but my quick quip concerning moderation here would be that it's a little hypocritcal. I always thought OTN's roots were rooted in "who cares?" OTN isnt hosting the vid.

My own personal thoughts on posting a rip? :nono:

in a way i agree with who cares..

though if you were posting to bring attention to a video- the same can be doen through posting a trailer to it.

i've heard the copyright is copyright bit before- i understand it but you should also understand the other side that free web vids dont have the same intent as a for sale dvd. if you make a free web vid for funsies and post it on the webs, you arent expecting much back from it other than sharing something with the community of riders. if you go through the time and effort to make a marketable dvd for sale, you have invested heavily in the project both financially and time wise and... quite frankly- you gotta eat. that's what separates dvd rips from web vids in my mind and that's why im personally not into having unauthorized rips posted on otn. it's killing the bmx video scene right now and there is no reason for it to go on anywhere else.
