Hey all:
Some new parts I made, first up, a 1/2" polycarbonate bashguard:

And from above, I had to get some special 15mm long e-thirteen chainring bolts to clamp it to the spider, for $14:

Then my new tensioner, with a split clamp for easy chainline and spring tension adjustment. It's a mix of rennen and a 74Kings. So a tough solid aluminum bracket that bolts to the dropout/hanger, with a leaf spring and a teflon bumper to keep the tension even. Works great, but not really that much different than my prior rigid one. But I notice a little quicker pickup when you ratchet back. All just a fun project:) Makes less noise now, cause the chain movement is reduced. The split clamp is really nice for chainline adjustment:)

Nice work there. I wish I could make stuff that looked that nice.
My creations usually involve cardboard, duct tape, paper towels, and zipties.

What's the weight of the bash guard?
72g for bashguard, 40g for hardware = 112g total

Goose, what did you use to make the bashguard?
I assume you mean what tools? Center punch, compas, bandsaw for rough cut OD; lathe for OD and rough ID; vertical mill with a turntable for ID and bolt pattern; bandsaw to cut slot for crankarm. Up until last week, I had free access to a well equiped machine shop, but no more:( I hope she lasts.

no jaimer that square Viger...i think. Not too sure where square victoria is. U got a ticket and they dindt give u a warning first...thats fucked. I got one for riding on something in st annes (even tho it was donny) and for sprawling when the security guard tried to tackle me. Who woulda thought that takedown defense was "disturbing the peace". 3 cop cars showed up after too. Didnt pay them....ill let them send me a letter first.

I had to do a lot of filing and sawing to get donny's hack hanger to work.

Yup, the mtl madness spot. straight up cops in a squad car, flashing lights, pulled over and waved me over. Bullet proof vests and everything. I was pretty shocked too. Then when I told them about the people having sex and doing crack around the corner they said "We'll check it out" and drove away.
