Ive decided to make my p.2 just a bit more trials-ish, and Im going to replace my heavy ass front suspension with a rigid fork so maybe I can finally learn to rock and actually pull some decent rear pivots. The only thing I know is it needs to be 26' (I think), so can anyone give me some advice about what I should be trying to get?

Any ridigid fork would work. You will want a suspension corrected fork for that bike, but since in trials we use lower front ends maybe a standard trials fork would be fine. It wouldent be as easy to bunny hop, but you'd get used to it.
I run a 26" Zoo pitbull fork on my stock bike. Its nice and stiff!

P.bikes generally have a headtube angle around 69 degrees which isn't great for low speed steering. If you use a short fork you will increase the angle. The downside is that you will also increase your BB drop. It's going to be a compromise either way. I would probably leans towards the shorter side for the fork as opposed to suspension corrected.

Surly Instigator fork would probably work nice if you want a susp. corrected fork.

putting a rigid fork on your p2 won't help you at all. the bb is too low to use a regular trials fork on there(the cranks would start hitting the ground very easily) and if you bought a suspension corrected fork then you wouldn't be able to use it on your next dedicated trials bike. You'd be better off either riding your p2 the way it is, or buying a frame that can take a regular 26" trials fork without the bb getting low as fuck.

I agree. I just went through this with my Kona Shred. I let the air out of my fork and cranked it down with a ratchet strap. Aside from (obviously) making the front a little heavier, it rode like shit. My bb was too low. It sucked to bunnyhop, it sucked trying to get up on the rear tire, and it sucked once it was up on the rear. Rocking was easy though
