So this last weekend I rode my first actual bike trial competition. The local motorcycle trials club, COTA, let us piggyback bicycle sections along with their event, so I went down early the Sat before and laid out a few sections,(all natural) in the Tillamook State forest. Just a couple of other guys brought their bikes along. We rode 3 sections 3 loops with maybe a half mile loop too!
Really had a blast. Worked out really well since there was already observers there for the AM moto riders, also they also had the permits and insurance, and they got a huge kick out of watching us ride they're intermediate log sections, ( Yea, real spectators) Can't wait to set up the next one or do a bike only event. Wish i'd gotten some pics but my camera battery decided to take a dump. Oh well next time. A great big thanks to the COTA guys for helping us out. :h5:
