Definitly looks fun to ride. I just picked up an old zebdi frame to build up the same type of bike. Sometimes a short wheelbase is a good thing.
looks like alot of fun ! very good build .

Looks like a fun build! How do you like the Hookworms and what gear are you running? May need something like that in my stable.....

It's a 26/17, the 26 just fits inside the guard and the Shadow chain made the tension about right.
Riding is mainly urban, learning manuals, bunny hops etc,the Hookworms are great, they will grip io walls etc quite well, I run 25lbs and have lovely soft landings mmmmm.
Pedal kicking is possible but sluggish, however, pull the seat post way up and wheelie all day, I managed more than two miles in one shot.

Couldn't resist. Looked like such a fun ride and I had the frame/bike sitting around. Picked up a pair of hookworms (surprising ride, thanks for the tip) threw on a 22t chainring, 12-26/8spd cassete and a twist grip and viola! Still trying to figure out the seat, seatpost setup. The seatpost tube is so short it makes any real adjustments useless, all or nothing.
Took it out for a quick ride around the town. Couldn't do too much cause I screwed up my back (not that I can do much of anything anyway) but so far feels great, a fun ride.
Templarbond, your on to something here!!!!

Just did it for shits and giggles. Put hookworms on both ends. Smooth and gentle ride on the street and will take a beating.
(Templarbond made me do it :momaru:)

Hey don't blame me.
You'll get used to riding it you'll have a lot of fun, great for leaping stuff at fast speeds, and such plush landings with those Maxxis
