So, being the idiot I am, I installed my ISIS crank without the little washer on the crank bolt, and long story short, the drive side is trashed. I am brand new to trials, and I just want to ride. Should I just run down the the LBS and grab any 170mm ISIS crank, or should I get a trials specific crank.
the crank I ruined was a truvativ hussefelt, and it looks like I can get another one for around $70 from pricepoint. Is FFW all its cracked up to be?
Thanks guys
Luke

Nice cranks are worth the dollrs. Front freewheel is a good way to avoid spending mad cash on a Hope, King... high engagement rear hub.

Ive already got a WI freewheel on the back. so I guess Ill keep it there, and just grab another Hussefelt crank.

what did that do to the crank?
It stripped out the area where the crank bolt is supposed to pancake the crank into the BB.

Did you try to get them replaced under warranty?

Im running some monty cranks on my mod, with no problems. Personally i perfer ffw. For example on a tensile ffw if you skip you have 5 more points to catch you. However, for example, if your king hub skips... you are done. And yes, king hubs can skip.

No, I got them on e-gay. It was my fault anyways.
I ended up just getting another set of the same.
