I have the Threshold chain tensioners on my mod bike. One thing I noticed with them that I didn't like is if you miss a sidehop or something similar and end up landing on your rear dropouts, it'll bend the bolt of the tensioner. I don't know if any other tensioners have a design that avoids this issue or not, it's been awhile since I've looked. Besides that I like the tensioners, I had to grind them down to fit though, I don't know if it's because of my old frame or not.:dunno:

Don't know if the above is for me or Shorty, but...
I have an old '99 or '00 Monty 219 x-hydra. The plates used for the rear dropouts are pretty thin, so the center thingy on the thresholds used to keep it in the dropouts was too wide for me.
