But they wont hit my rim. im running a 27mm Sun Rhyno Lite. I know its narrow, but im really on a budget and I cant afford another rim right now. I was hoping to use this wheel for a bit until I can afford a dx32 to lace to the hub. Is there any way to space the pads closer to the rim? does anyone make extra thick pads?
Thanks guys
Luke

wierd i had a old bike that had that rim on the back and my maggies could hit the rim no problem?

the pads are pretty worn, maybe I just need new pads?
Its an Adamant A1 frame if that helps...

you probably need the offset mounts because that frame accomodates even wider (than dx32) rims.

i have the opposite problem where the brakes wont fit a dx32 on an older frame. but i have canti mounts so no offset options for me.

PS: if you get offset mounts, willig to get rid of your stock maggie mounts? :p

as long as it holds the brakes onto a 4bolt bike just fine, doenst matter.

i'm kicking around the idea of building up my mod frame, or getting a new stock frame with maggie mounts

heres an auction but the guy posts measurements before and after. yours might be different initially but it would move it about a centemeter inward on both ends.

dunno, you can compare the gap to what he measured and find out exactly if this will help, or place the pads too close for your needs

How many holes does your rim have. I have a couple extra DX32's laying around, I'll give you a deal to get you rollin.

I honestly don't think you're going to find a good way to get a magura to work in an A1 frame without a wider rim.

Sweet, that's what I got. I have one that's round and true, but the sidewalls are scored and there are a couple small holes where I started to drill. I also have a brand new one. You can have the scored/drilled one if you cover shipping.
