Just got off the phone with Billy. The NATS event is still on in Flagstaff on the 28th of April. The best place to fly into is Phoenix and its a 2 hour drive from there. Billy will be posting more info this week

Billy is still working on a flyer. I do know that entry fee is $20 for all classes. Pros get money purse and all lower classes get prizes supplied by KORE bike shop I believe. BIU rules.

I'm curious, about how many riders usually show up to these events? I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah and it is about a 8 hour drive from here. I will probably make it.

Straight from Birry Bedtime::
Location: N.A.T.S Buffalo Park Flagstaff, AZ
Date: April 28th 2007
Time: 8 am practice 9 am event start all classes
Entry Fee: $10 famines, unicycle, beginner, sport, and expert
$20 elite
Awards: Elite pay back with trophy. All other classes receive prizes and trophies.
Typically Flagstaff can be windy this time of year so be prepared with light coats. Also rain is a possibility. Though it could also turn out to be 85F and sunny. Arizona weather is moody.
This event is in town therefore lodging is close. If anyone needs transportation or more in depth travel info please contact me and I'll do my best to make sure your trip here is comfortable.

Do you need a license to compete? If so, how much do the day licenses cost?
Thanks,
Chris

Cool, an event in AZ! How many peeps show up to event like this? What kinda skills are required for beginner and/or sport classes (nevermind I saw some pics from other threads)? Don't know if I want to act a fool and compete but definately want to check this out!
Thinking of competing as beginner, I have bike and limited skillz, what do I need to do (registration)? Is Kore bike shop over on Scottsdale RD involved, cause I could stop over there this weekend for more info?
Thanks!

You should definitely compete. If you know what trials is, I'm sure you'll be able to handle the beginner sections.
I assume registration is day of?

Going for it, don't really know much about how the competitions work (I've only competed once, and that was an XC race). I've gathered that putting a foot down means getting points and lower points are better.
Saw your vid a few weeks ago, nice riding! What class do you compete in?
Also I was wondering what NATS stands for.

Glad to here it. You can check this out to get the general idea http://biketrials.com/intro/rules.shtml
The nats site is down, so I don't have a link to the exact rules.
NATS= North American Trials Series
I'll be competing in expert.

I posted a few of the pictures (10) that I took at last years event. I only posted pics from the beginner and sport sections, I got more pics somewhere, I'll try to find them and post some more. http://www.freeridewest.com/pics/pics.php?page_num=1&order_by=id+desc&query=&cat=3

So no daylight saving time in AZ? People coming from other mountain time zone states have to set clocks back an hour or am I confused?

Yep, no daylight savings time here. Don't know what that means for people from other states other than sometimes we are on pacific time and the rest mountain time.

I can't seem to find the results from this event anywhere. Does anyone have them? I'd like to post them on the new NATrials.com.
