i have one on its way, ill tell u when/if i eventually get it..........

reason for the change in wb is that deng uses chopsticks to measure tubing...........jk

prolly your chain tension dude. horizontal dropouts will always vary slightly due to the fact you have to adjust your rear wheel for the chain tension.
15mm aint much.

did you measure right. wheel base on a mod would be from center of front axle to center of farthest forward position of rear axle. easy way is to take both wheels out and measure from the front part of the fork dropout to the front part of the frame dropout. or be cool and do it with the wheels in. my 1033mm echo worked out to be a devastating 1033mm wheelbase.

p.s. 15mm is a lot if it's in anyway coming from your chainstays. big difference in 365mm chainstays and 380.

I didn't realize this, i was measuring from centre front axle to centre rear axle with an 18-12 ratio. that makes sense now, thanks:bigthumb:

i have ridden 1030 monsterboy previously, and am now riding a short A3 (1000 or 1005 or something)
the short A3 felt quite long for its actual wb for me, but im getting used to it now. id imagine the 1030 would feel quite long.
i only got my A3 last week so am still getting used to it. feeling alot more comfy on it now.

i am riding it with a koxx fork.

oh ...how fucking good is the bash guard on the a3. more to the point the rounded part of the frame that the rubber sits on. it aborbs any impacts so well. all mods should have bashmounts like this.

I do feel that my A3 1030 is abit long, but it's ok for me. I somehow jus injured my wraist. Using my zoo bar and echo stem. Yup all echo products hav the same bashmount. A3 is quite a good mod frame. I am tryin out a local bar&stem brand in singapore, Modulobikes.com
