yes they do, eventually. from the piston.
you can change the o-rings but that lasts about a week or two

The new model (without the carbon) doesn't leak that much, the seals and stuff are a lot better than on the old one. And it's stiffer too.
can you send me a new model? no where to buy in america, and i dont understand german websites

Mine leaked a little but about every other week I would add more oil, no big deal incredibly easy to bleed. Those levers are worth the work.

ive seen them snap off from pulling the brake too hard on big moves.

they also seem to be squishy not matter how u set them up. the crbon also usually cracks under the bolt that clamps it to the bar. unless u leavr it loose...then it moves around:wuteva:
however no lever has ever had the feel of one of those things

Well they're squishy due to more leverage, no?

even though its carbon fiber and should be super stiff.... its not..
it feels nice, but just because it has more leverage doesnt mean it would feel squishy. the piece that holds the cylinder and clamps on to the bar has a decent amount of flex in it, not in the lever blade itself.

They're $120 here in Germany. I can send you one, if you want. Or just send an email to webmaster@trialmarkt.de and order directly from him. They're available in black or red (left hand or right hand lever).
Another option is to order it from Finland http://www.bestbrakes.net/product_info.php?products_id=490 They're a little cheaper, around $100. I couldn't find an email address on that site...
Have a look at the RB distributors http://www.rbdesign.sk/de/de_index.htm --> "distribuent". Best brakes is the RB distributor for Finland and the email is info@bestbrakes.inet.fi (siteinfo@bestbrakes.inet.fi) Just try that one... Maybe they still have both models in stock, the old one and the new model (see pics).

Dunno Elan, I've had my Black one for as long as you've known me and I NEVER had a problem with it. I always used standard magura blood. I bought that red one because I had heard they had problems and wanted a backup, but since I never had a problem decided I might as well sell the red one (to you).
