how good of a location is an apartment at 1100 28th street in boulder, right by CU? is it close to downtown?

it's pretty close to the middle of boulder in terms of campus/pearl/downtown.

check out housinghelpers.com- that's a pretty good resource to find you some housing.

I got a roomate that is going to Texas for an internship this summer and looking to sublease. The location is 3868 Campo Court. In North Boulder (7 min drive to campus). It is a four bedroom house, two car garage, finished basement, half basketball court, and a park right outside our fence gate. Let me know if you are interested.

I think its at 1100 28th street, not positive though.

this is the apartments website:

http://rentsrp.com/apartments/boulder/dakotas-1bed.html#

i guess its a little bit away from pearl street. i really dont know much about the boulder layout, so i took one of the first subleases I could find where I didnt have to live with people I havent met (based off past summer experiences.....)

I dont even know where my jobsite is at right now... its kinda up in the air and the company just told me to get an apartment in boulder or longmont.

is that a shitty location?

parking might suck there? dunno, maybe you'll have a spot in a lot. it's not bad. it's not really walking close to pearl st but it's pretty central to boulder as a whole.

Looks nice. I'm considering Boulder now instead of Denver.
Mind if I ask, what that goes for?

why? boulder is way more expensive than denver to live in.

Yuppers.

Boulder is a nice place. Though I could not afford to live there. If I could I would, but I cant so I wont.

Well, I could, but I still wont.

fyi its around 700. the cheapest sublease i could find was around 600, so i went for the nicer place for the extra hundred. if i wasnt working right there, and the company wasnt paying for the better part of it, i would have looked for a place in downtown denver though....

there definitely is. they are harder to come by but right now im in a decent house for about 400 a month.

yea, but its a lot easier to find a lease for a year than for 3 months with little flexibility, and getting something where you have roommates helps lower the cost as well.

there's always some kid sub-leasing for the summer to go study abroad or something... but those things never make it to realtor sites or listings, those are always just fliers on campus or whatever.

oh well, another stupid financial decision to add to the pile...

see you boulder fools in a few weeks

I like boulder a lot. Nice place.
College girls FTW.
700 is a lot, but 400 is fucking cheap.
I'm probably just going into denver because I'll live in a lean to if its the right price and I'm a fan of public transportation that runs past 10 pm at night.

3rd degree, it was nice to meet you.

you too man. My girlfriend works for a realtor, I'll ask her if they have any properties on the cheaper side of things in boulder. i live with one other guy, and we only pay 525 each, which includes heat, water, electricity, cable and trash. so there are def cheap places in boulder.
